About University of Stavanger:
University of Stavanger is one of the top level universities in Europe offering Petroleum Engineering programs. Through an increasing need for the Automation in every industry in Norway, the oil and gas industries have been recently affected by the automation technologies to a high degree. University of Stavanger has one of the main roles in collaboration with the companies having the will to integrate new computational methods with the old conventional techniques. Several projects have been in progress through the industrial relations of UiS and Norwegian companies.
My educational career:
I have studied in the University of Stavanger, UiS, through academic years 2017-2020 in M.Sc. of Petroleum Well Engineering with minor in Drilling Automation. I have worked on my Master thesis research in flow dynamics modelling with the title "Numerical modelling of temperature-dependent flow dynamics in drilling operations" under supervision of Tore Flåtten. I have investigated and developed a scientific code to numerically solve a system of hyperbolic conservation laws (Isothermal and Full Euler model) for fluid flow in well and pipelines.
